Privacy Policy

Farrdil (“Farrdil,” “we,” “us”) provides an AI-powered customer service platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect about you (“you,” “your”), how we use it, and the rights you have over it. By creating an account or using Farrdil, you agree to this Policy.

1. What we collect

• Account information — name, email address, company name, password (hashed), plan tier.
• Conversation data — messages exchanged through your assistant, including content sent by your end customers, agent system prompts, knowledge base sources you upload, and metadata such as timestamps and message counts.
• Usage data — API usage volume, feature usage, error logs, billing-relevant events.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device info, and cookies needed to keep you signed in.

2. How we use it

• To operate and improve the Farrdil service.
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, escalations, billing).
• To enforce usage limits, billing, and acceptable-use rules.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do notsell your data or your end customers’ data, and we do not use conversation content to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.

3. Sub-processors

We share limited data with the following processors strictly to operate the service:

• OpenAI — for generating assistant responses (conversation content is sent at the time of each request).
• Railway — backend hosting and PostgreSQL database.
• Vercel — frontend hosting.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.

Each processor has its own privacy and security commitments. We do not transfer data to additional processors without updating this list.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and conversation data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove the underlying records from our production database within 30 days. Encrypted backups may retain data for an additional 90 days before they roll off.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data (subject to limited legal exceptions).
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.

6. Security

We use industry-standard protections: TLS in transit, hashed passwords (bcrypt), scoped API keys, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account or data has been compromised, contact us immediately.

7. Children

Farrdil is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. If we make material changes, we’ll notify account holders by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
